Education:Carthage College B.A. in Psychology and Neuroscience; Washington University in St Louis School of Medicine, Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
Advanced trainings and Areas of Interest:Infant treatment, neuromuscular disorders, orthopedic abnormalities, splinting and dynamic bracing, torticollis and plagiocephaly, sensory processing.
Prior Experience:I worked in early intervention in Lake, Cook, and McHenry Counties. I have worked on multidisciplinary evaluation teams for children birth to six in the home and clinic settings. I have also worked at Pathways Center (Glenview, IL), a pediatric clinic, and for the Chicago Public Schools. I enjoy the multi-disciplinary approach when treating children and I love the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from my fellow therapists.
Who I Am:I live in Chicago with my husband. I enjoy sewing, knitting, cooking, and being outdoors. I play the guitar and the banjo. I love incorporating my hobbies into my work.
